Hello! If you’re reading this page, it’s probably because you want to know a bit more about me. So here goes!
My name is Jade. I live in the swinging city of London with my husband and our 2 year old dachshund. I am Sydney born and bred and can’t wait to go back home, even though living in London has been one of the best experiences in my life.
I got married on the hottest day in January 2007. My husband and I have been together for almost ten years now. We met when a mutual friend introduced us at a bar in Sydney one night. I’m the first to admit it wasn’t love at first sight, more like love at twentieth drink. I’ve told the story on my old blog and one day I’ll get around to telling it again here. My husband proposed to me on the beach down on the South Coast of NSW in 2005 and we got married at one of the oldest houses in Sydney two years later.
My second love in life is my dog, Jackson. Jackson came to us in 2008, he’s a wire haired dachshund cross and he is one of the funniest, cutest dogs around. If he’s not curled up in mine or my husband’s lap, he’s outside chasing his ball and just being a general goofball.
Why Blog? I started blogging when I was a teenager. I’ve always loved technology, so I combined the typical teenage love of diaries and my own personal techno obsession. I’ve had quite a few blogs over a variety of platforms, most notably Livejournal and Blogger. I have short term memory problems and I find that blogging helps me to remember the important things in life.
